E-commerce marketplaces
Although
the quick growth of social commerce, business, over half of all on-line sales
are now made in the most important marketplace in the industry, such as Alibaba
and Amazon. Online marketplaces will continue to attract
consumers with their extensive offerings and affordable prices and offset fears
of economic pressures.
Amazon,
for example, is on the edge of capturing more than total US retail sales. The
company also has a big presence in countries such as Great Britain and has
already established itself successfully around the world. In addition, further
expansion plans are pending. As a marketplace, Amazon allows everyone to sell
successfully online.
